Love Poems

I wrote a few thousand words in my romance novel. Not nearly as much as I wanted, but more than I had before.

It also happens in the dating scene quite a bit. While I totally believe that physical attraction has a lot to do with chemicals, I believe our environment plays a huge role. Even if we have someone that we totally click with in many levels, the pressure of our peers can sometimes make it impossible for us to date someone that does not meet a certain standard.

Romance in the office is the topic du jour on Valentine’s Day. This year is no exception as BusinessWeek offers The Ethics of Office Romance. I did enjoy the author’s take:

Randee's brainstorms, however, had not forgotten about love letters, about the writing down of sentiment, about our awkward scratching of a pencil or pen on paper and its forming these intimate loops and arcs and curves. Choreographic elements aside, talking about letters and writing led to the query: what is the grammar of love? I began to wonder if I could realize grammar in sound, and what of this very specific grammar...the grammar of love...what might its rhythms and cadences sound like?

Think of all those love letters full of “I’ll love you forever” statements and drawn hearts you sent along your life. Now imagine being “forbidden” to write them just because you were born XY instead of XX. How boring!

Tonight is very long,
Longer than last night,
Longer than ever,
And may be longer than tomorrow.

Tonight i leave the place that I'll remember for my entire life,
Tonight I've become real man because the sky is dark,
Darken than last night,
Darken than ever,
The stars more further,
Further than last night..

Tonight, I'll create a future
Future for tomorrow night,

I lost,
I cry,
And I ponder,

Yes, i ponder,
And there's the answer,
That I've already know,

I've already answered.

The red world,
The red sky,
The red blood,
The red life,
It's all about my memories.

I never lie
Because i don't want you to cry.
