Quantitative Dating

We can't wait to see how the quantitative method of dating works!

Approximately 10 minutes after my declaration of my new quantitative method of dating, I was asked out by my Russian friend from the gym (I’m omitting his name to protect his identity). He met the two criteria, so I accepted. We’re going to dinner tomorrow night, and that’s all I can say about that for now.

Anne Sexton

Nice post on poet Anne Sexton.

Love poems, suicide notes, lamentations of the body and the spirit…she was one of the first confessional poets, and even if my pen has run dry, she keeps me company.

The Little Toil Of Love

The Little Toil of Love, by Emily Dickinson.
I had no time to hate, because
The grave would hinder me,
And life was not so ample I
Could finish enmity.

Nor had I time to love; but since
Some industry must be,
The little toil of love, I thought,
Was large enough for me.
