All of the above leads me to my current predicament. I’ve been talking with someone and our first time out was amazing. I had a great time. I enjoyed every second. I found myself not wanting to see him go, and waiting to hear him say that he wanted to see me again, not in a casual “we should do this again sometime” manner but a “I want to see you as soon as possible, when do you think that can happen?” manner. This wasn’t quite what I got, but I did receive something closer to the “when can I see you again” than an open-ended “yeah let’s hang out again”. We have absolutely no problem talking to each other and we’ve covered many a topic, but the topic of whom I am dating and what I’ll be doing in the future hasn’t come up. I was bold enough to ask if he was dating anyone but that is where the conversation ended.
