Sounds Of Love
Randee's brainstorms, however, had not forgotten about love letters, about the writing down of sentiment, about our awkward scratching of a pencil or pen on paper and its forming these intimate loops and arcs and curves. Choreographic elements aside, talking about letters and writing led to the query: what is the grammar of love? I began to wonder if I could realize grammar in sound, and what of this very specific grammar...the grammar of love...what might its rhythms and cadences sound like?

Top 10 Reasons I Wouldn't Like To Be A Boy
Think of all those love letters full of “I’ll love you forever” statements and drawn hearts you sent along your life. Now imagine being “forbidden” to write them just because you were born XY instead of XX. How boring!

The Missing Love Letters
Well, as I’ve said, I used to do the mail sorting as a marketing assistant for a magazine company. Sometimes, I would get mail that was sent to us by mistake. Since I’m too lazy to return them to the mailman, I would either throw them away or….read them. I kept two interesting love letters that, because of a lazy marketing assistant, did not reach their intended recipients. What if they lost their chance for true love because they didn’t get their lover’s message?

Rules To Live By
How often have we heard ourselves complaining about how unlucky we are in life or how things are just not working out right for us. However, what we so easily forget is that at some time before in lives, luck has favoured us.But it is human nature whereby we remember only what didn?t work for us but easily forget the things that happened in our favour. There are several things in life that we must cherish and be thankful to God for. One important thing that we must do is make a list of all the good things that have happened to us or all the blessings we have got and refer to that list whenever we feel upset or uncared for. Actually this is the same logic, which we use when we read old love letters because they remind us of happy times and cherished memories. Here is a list of ten quotations and how we can interpret these to lead a happier life.

Mom Reads The Love Letter
the guy who did my haircut, named mon, first asked where i really am from. "batangas city po.." then suddenly, his face lit up. why? his first love is from Batangas. so here's his story: he studied in a vocational school in a makati high school, and was then assigned as an electrician in the kepple company in bauan. whilst in the line of duty, he suddenly saw the beautiful face of his to be crush-first love, named gina. he first saw her in gina's family's piggery, and since then, kept giving her love letters. but ever since mon found out that gina had been letting her mother read his hearfelt letters, the former became embarassed and decided that he could not continue his courtship with the 'mommy's girl.' soon after, he went back to makati, but close friends of both parties kept them informed regarding the other's status. mon even said, "sinabi nga skin dati nung friend namin ni gina: 'pinapasabi ni gina na may boyfriend na siya! ikaw ba daw, may girlfriend na?!'" mon knew that it was gina's way of making him jealous, a constant reminder of their once brewing love.

Romantic Pen
I am fond of writing love letters. It feels so damn good expressing my feelings in a form of writing. For me, it’s a powerful expression in any day of the year. I don’t have to be Shakespeare to write the perfect love letter. It’s just how I feel. It’s very personal. I want to fan the flames of a fledging romance with my written words. It maybe sexy, romantic, crazy, foolish or wondrous. Letters are legacies.

Wrong Timezone
Not embarking on some crazy ass internet dating affair with a girl in the wrong timezone. Dismal failure on this score I’m afraid. Dismal, dismal failure. I held off my feelings for, oh let’s call her Betty (revenge is mine!), for as long as humanly possible. The fact is as soon as I saw her I was a goner and that was nearly a year ago now. Until this point the mere impossibility of anything ever coming of it was keeping back this Hoover Dam size tide of emotion. Maybe the dam broke at the same time as my back spasmed. Whatever caused it I had to face the simple reality of the situation. I could not complete my life gently skipping over the fact of this girl’s existence, however much I try, and believe me I tried.

Christian Love Letter
i have read of girls who gave away their first hugs and kisses to guys they do not even know their names. when they came to know the Lord, and married, when they hug and kiss their husband.. memories of their first times came to mind. i dont want that to happen. its so painful, its really sad. they are unable to enjoy that moment. enjoy that moment with that person whom they love. all my first times are gonna be for you. and i know the Lord would keep me on track as long as i desire to please Him. He will bring you to me in due time. i dont need to search for you. =) i think thats all for my first letter. i dont want to see you so soon.

A Glimpse
A glimpse through an interstice caught,
Of a crowd of workmen and drivers in a bar-room
around the stove late of a winter night, and I
unremark'd seated in a corner,
Of a youth who loves me and whom I love, silently
approaching and seating himself near, that he
may hold me by the hand,
A long while amid the noises of coming and going, of
drinking and oath and smutty jest,
There we two, content, happy in being together,
speaking little, perhaps not a word.

My History
At the end of 11th grade, the Epic Love Story begins, as she is seduced by a crazy punk rocker who sends her love letters written on the peels of oranges. She begins a ridiculous, mostly long-distance relationship with this man, who graduates a year ahead of her and joins the navy. The rest of high school is clouded with her sudden punk rock life style: Multiple concerts, many backstage break-ins, and numerous nights at La Luna. She starts hanging around a certain band, making them origami animals, and attending their sober house parties (the...

"Instant" Gratification
What will the love poem of the future look like?In the age of the Internet, who writes love letters anymore? The romantic epistolary tradition has gone high-tech; online love is all about the Instant Message (IM) window, with its unique language of shorthand endearments: BRB (be right back), IMHO (in my humble opinion) and the ultimate phrase representing devotion and commitment potential, the coveted LOL (laughing out loud). But at the end of an e-communication, can we trust our memory of what happened? Absent of intonation and physical cues, how do we discern if a sentiment is mutual? And how...

Runaway Bride
Of course, Jennifer Wilbanks will eventually serve whatever sentence comes her way, even if it's merely global public ridicule. Then, missing the media fishbowl, she'll plunge back in by marrying Michael Jackson while having an affair with Gary Condit. Somehow she'll also find time to send steamy love letters to Scott Peterson on death row and grab a guest gig on "Desperate Housewives."

Love Letters Documentary
His other film Love Letters from the War is running after that, for anyone who is a glutton for emotional punishment. I have seen this before and it is pretty special. For what it is worth, I have found a publicity shot (wow! a documentary director allowed space in a publicity pack), and popped it here to the left. He was probably extremely cold, and they were worried it might snow, thus ruining the verisimilitude gained by dragging a crew to Gallipoli.

National Anti-Poetry Month
As an alternative to National Poetry Month, I propose that we have an International Anti-Poetry month. As part of the activities, all verse in public places will be covered overfrom the Statue of Liberty to the friezes on many of our government buildings. Poetry will be removed from radio and TV (just as it is during the other eleven months of the year). Parents will be asked not to read Mother Goose and other rimes to their children but only ... fiction. Religious institutions will have to forego reading verse passages from the liturgy...

Love Letter Tips
Love letters are a wonderful way to express your feelings to someone. They are not hard to create, if you give it some thought. Be sincere, a little unique, and you'll certainly bring a smile to your love's face and a joyous flutter to the heart.
1. NO CANNED POETRY. "What does that mean?" Everyone copies some romantic verse from a famous author to put in their love letters. Be different and original. Write a poem yourself. Or if you're not talented at that sort of thing, simply put down a few lines from the heart about how you feel.
Good luck with your love letters. I'm sure there are lots of other ideas you can come up with on your own. Create lots of romance and have fun!

Writing Love Letters to Your Spouse
We had to write love letters to each other.... I loved the letter I recieved. I feel like the luckiest, richest woman in the world. Ronnie says I am beautiful, a wonderful step mother and I have created him a "perfect daughter" (minus behavorial issues)! And that church is a must for our family to start attending, I agree. I really feel that we left there on the same page...

A Short Hot Love Letter
I shall seek and find you... I shall take you to bed and control you... I will make you ache, shake and sweat until you grunt and groan... I will make you beg for mercy... I will exhaust you to the point that you will be relieved when I leave you... You will be weak for days after I am gone.

My Love in Her Attire Doth Show Her Wit
MY Love in her attire doth show her wit, It doth so well become her: For every season she hath dressings fit, For Winter, Spring, and Summer. No beauty she doth miss When all her robes are on; But Beauty's self she is When all her robes are gone.

Love Letter by John Keats.
I cannot exist without you. I am forgetful of everything but seeing you again. My life seems to stop there, I see no further. You have absorb'd me. I have a sensation at the present moment as though I were dissolving. I have been astonished that men could die martyrs for religion... I have shudder'd at it... I shudder no more. I could be martyr'd for my religion: Love is my religion. I could die for that. I could die for you. My creed is love, and you are its only tenet. You have ravish'd me away by a power I cannot resist.

Remember Thee! Remember Thee!
Remember thee! remember thee!
Till Lethe quench life's burning stream
Remorse and shame shall cling to thee,
And haunt thee like a feverish dream!
Remember thee! Aye, doubt it not.
Thy husband too shall think of thee:
By neither shalt thou be forgot,
Thou false to him, thou fiend to me!
